This week we will focus on the testimony of God bringing us all through this pandemic and still is. Thousands upon thousands of people have passed away from this disease but here we are still standing awaiting to see the salvation of the Lord. For us to be able to open up our eyes daily is a blessing because we are given the chance to gain the victory over our sins and we are able to do this because He has already gained the victory over OUR sins for us on the cross. During this time we are able to spend intimate time with God in growing our relationship with Him seeing the defects of our character and allowing the Lord to purify us and cleanse us to the saving of our souls and to the glory of Him. The Lord loves us with an everlasting love and truly wants us to be saved and to spend eternity with Him. This pandemic is showing us that we do not have control over anything on this earth therefore we need to place our lives in the One who has control over the earth which is Christ Jesus. Let us truly spend time with the Creator of this earth and not take this time that He Himself has given us for granted but to use it and guard it jealously so that we may be one with Him who have made and formed us in our mother’s womb and fashioned us into His likeness.
Isaiah 46:4
And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
“There is a great lack of Christian fortitude and serving God from principle. We should not seek to please and gratify self, but to honor and glorify God, and in all we do and say to have an eye single to His glory. If we would let our hearts be impressed with the following important words, and ever bear them in mind, we should not so easily fall into temptation and our words would be few and well chosen: “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.” “Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” “Thou God seest me.” EGW
